I'm Yarkın Gülaçtı, a Full Stack Developer and DevOps engineer born in 1998, currently living in Istanbul. In my software development journey, I've focused on modern web technologies and production-ready infrastructures centered around user experience.
On the frontend, I work with React, Next.js, and Vue.js; on the backend, I use technologies like NestJS, PostgreSQL, and Redis. I also utilize DevOps tools such as Docker and Jenkins for system automation and CI/CD processes. I managed both the desktop application and the entire DevOps pipeline of a notification system named Notifi, which serves tens of thousands of users.
At the core of my interest in software lies the excitement I feel when interacting with technology and seeing the results. The fact that code can solve a problem or meet a need is what motivates me most. Therefore, I measure the success of the projects I develop by the number of users they reach. In this regard, the website we developed for Biobuluyo holds a special place for me.
Alongside software, I also care about content creation, writing, and expressing my emotions. Engaging with poetry and writing takes me outside the technical world and into a different realm of thinking. I believe in the value of being both a good developer and a good teammate, and I see these two qualities as complementary.
